Job summary

Mariposa & Papillon Care invites a qualified Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN to join Briardene Nursing Home in Newcastle. You will lead the care team and deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing for our residents in a supportive environment.

The role is a day contract at an hourly rate of £22.79, with opportunities for professional development, a private health scheme, and recognition rewards as you progress within our team.

Qualifications

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading by example - You’ll proactively manage the care team, ensuring the highest standard of care and support is given to our residents.
• Person-centred care - Promote a culture of personalised care that always puts our residents first.
• Excellent nursing care - providing nursing care and interventions where needed.
• Team leadership - Motivate and support your team, ensuring everyone contributes to the smooth running of the home.
• Be a role model - Act as a role model for other clinical and care team members, always striving for excellence.
• Reporting - You’ll report directly to the Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead, keeping them in the loop on any important matters.
