Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Bank Registered Nurse to support Fulford Care & Nursing Home in Littlehampton, delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents.

You will administer medications, monitor nutrition and wellbeing, liaise with families and professionals, and mentor care staff. A valid NMC pin and right to work in the UK are required, with experience in care homes preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid, in date NMC pin without restrictions to practice.
• Evidence of recent clinical CPD.
• Experience working in a care home setting is preferable, but not essential.
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Liaising with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and the resident themselves in ensuring the care provision meets their individual requirements and making recommendations based on changes in care need.
• Administering and recording medication safely in line with company policy.
• Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration and taking steps to update nutrition plans with any revised dietary requirements.
• Monitoring residents for risks around pressure wounds and any abnormalities regarding toilet output.
• Participating in, and promoting resident activities.

A day in the life of a Registered Nurse

As aRegistered Nurse,you will be responsible for motivating, mentoring and developing a team of care staff in ensuring that the residents' clinical needs are attended to.You will be organised and ready to adapt to challenges, you will have the expertise you need to provide professional, safe, high quality care and support.
