Job description

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse to work on an agency basis for an NHS Mental Health hospital in Bradford. The hospital offers specialist services to support individuals with acute and complex mental health needs.

The successful candidate will be able to choose their own shift pattern, enabling a healthy work-life balance. Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, with various shift patterns including long days.

The ideal candidate will have previous NHS experience and at least one year of experience working in a similar role. The role involves working across varied and specialist services, including:

  • Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for adults (18+) detained under the Mental Health Act
  • Acute inpatient support for females aged 18–65 experiencing mental health crisis
  • Dedicated acute inpatient care for males aged 18–65 with mental illness
  • 24-hour care supporting individuals with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia
  • Low Secure Services for Men

The role involves providing a high standard of care to individuals with mental illness, developing therapeutic relationships, and contributing to patient assessments and care plans. The successful candidate will be an NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a minimum of 12 months post-registration experience in the UK.
