A registered mental health nurse post on the 20-bed all-male secure ward at Priory Hospital Ty Cwm Rhondda, a low secure unit for men with complex needs. The work is person-centred, covering care planning with patients and families, monitoring progress and coordinating nursing care for a defined group of patients. Full-time at 37.5 hours a week, it includes shift leadership and support for newly qualified colleagues through preceptorship. Applicants need active NMC registration and six to twelve months' post-registration experience.
