Priory Hospital Bristol is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse for a brand-new mixed acute ward. You will deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care for adults with acute mental health needs, act as named nurse, and cover nurse-in-charge duties when required.

Active NMC registration and a completed preceptorship are required, with 6–12 months post-registration experience. You will work within a multidisciplinary team helping shape a new service from the ground up.

Formación

• RMN qualification and active NMC registration.
• 6–12 months post-registration experience in mental health.
• Completed preceptorship programme.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver prescribed, person-centred nursing care to a defined patient group.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with patients, carers, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Act as a named nurse, monitoring and reviewing care plans.
• Respond to changes in patients' needs and conditions.
• Address concerns and complaints proactively.
• Prioritise and delegate nursing duties.
• Undertake nurse-in-charge responsibilities when required.
• Promote a safe, supportive environment, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, medicines management, Priory policies and the NMC Code.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, relatives, colleagues and visitors.
• Contribute to clinical meetings, supervision and reflective practice.
• Support newly qualified staff through preceptorship.
• Maintain continuing professional development in line with NMC requirements.
