Job description

Registered Manager – Children’s EBD Home

Nottingham | £60,000–£65,000 per annum

Stable service | Clear leadership autonomy | Therapeutic, long-term care | Strong organisational support

Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready to lead a trusted and established Children’s Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home in Nottingham?

This is an opportunity to manage a service where stability, quality, and long-term outcomes genuinely matter—and where you will have the autonomy to make a meaningful difference.

At this home, consistency and structure are central to achieving positive outcomes. You’ll be trusted to lead with confidence, develop a capable staff team, and provide young people with a safe, predictable, and therapeutic environment where progress and personal growth are at the heart of care.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Lead a stable, well-established service with strong organisational support.
  • Shape the culture of the home and lead your team with clarity and confidence.
  • Focus on long-term therapeutic outcomes rather than constant firefighting.
  • Make a tangible difference in the lives of children with EBD.
  • Join a provider that values realistic care planning, quality, and stable leadership.
Package & Benefits
  • Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per annum
  • 28 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Funded training and ongoing professional development.
  • On-call rota with additional payment where applicable.
About the Company

You will be joining a reputable provider with a long-standing commitment to safeguarding and delivering high-quality, consistent care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The organisation values stable leadership, realistic care planning, and homes that feel safe, structured, and genuinely supportive—for both young people and staff.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Hold full Ofsted registration and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the staff team, maintaining clear standards and accountability.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational management, ensuring safe and high-quality care.
  • Drive stability, positive outcomes, and a consistent therapeutic environment.
  • Build positive relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s EBD home.
  • Strong experience leading Ofsted inspections and maintaining compliance.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, or actively working towards it.
  • A confident, passionate leader who values structure, clarity, and therapeutic care.

This is more than a job—it’s the chance to lead a well-supported home, create lasting positive outcomes, and take the next meaningful step in your career.
