Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Registered Manager for our refurbished care home in Aylesbury. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver safe, person-centred care, ensuring residents feel at home and achieve high regulatory standards.

You will oversee care plans, staff development, safeguarding, and compliance, with a focus on quality, continuity, and compassionate leadership. This full-time role requires 42 hours per week and UK right-to-work.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining.
• QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• A management qualification (QCF level 4) or willingness to work towards it.
• Previous registration in a residential service (preferable).
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, and care home operations.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people-management skills.
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults.
• Full-time availability (42 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Championing choice, dignity and person-centred care for every resident.
• Reviewing and adapting care plans in partnership with residents, families, staff and professionals.
• Monitoring and auditing service quality and acting swiftly on areas of improvement.
• Managing risk assessments and safeguarding practices to keep residents safe.
• Recruiting, inducting, mentoring and developing your team.
• Leading HR matters, including performance and conduct.
• Ensuring effective staffing levels and robust contingency planning.
• Investigating safeguarding concerns, managing complaints, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
