Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a home care team at Tamar and Lakeside Court. You will ensure safe, high-quality care that meets CQC standards while driving continuous improvement and staff development.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and experience with vulnerable client groups. A competitive package and training support are offered.

Qualifications

• 12 months right to work in the UK
• Management qualification at QCF level 4 or equivalent or willingness to work towards this qualification
• QCF level 4 or higher in Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Previous registration in a home care service preferable
• Demonstrable up to date knowledge of the care sector including the running of a home care service and regulatory framework
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Experience of working with vulnerable client groups

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to provide a safe, caring and responsive home care service that meets CQC regulations
• Ensure care provision promotes dignity, choice and individuality for clients
• Review and adapt care plans in collaboration with clients, families and health professionals
• Conduct regular auditing and take corrective action to maintain service quality
• Induct and train staff, supervise performance and manage staffing contingencies
• Address complaints and safeguarding concerns with timely notifications and candour
