Job summary

Chase Medical is recruiting a Registered Manager to reopen and lead a children's residential home in Andover, SP10, supporting young people aged 9-18 with complex emotional and behavioural needs. The role offers £55,000 per annum, full-time, permanent, with training and career progression and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is required.
• At least two years' residential childcare experience.
• At least one year's supervisory or management experience.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the home.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality care.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
• Lead, support and develop the care team.
• Work with therapists, families and external professionals.
• Oversee staffing, care planning, budgets and quality assurance.
• Support young people with ASD, ADHD, PTSD and trauma-related behaviours.

Education

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (desirable)
