Job summary

Priority Recruitment is pleased to present a Registered Manager opportunity in Salisbury, Wiltshire. This full-time, permanent role oversees a 4-bedroom children's residential home, guiding a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care and therapeutic outcomes for ages 8–17 with EBD.

You will ensure safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and operational performance, creating a safe environment while driving positive outcomes, stability and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the residential home
• Leading, motivating and supporting the residential care team
• Ensuring safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed
• Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and preparing for Ofsted inspections
• Overseeing individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding arrangements
• Supporting staff recruitment, induction, supervision and performance development
• Promoting a positive culture focused on stability and therapeutic care
• Liaising with social workers, local authorities, families and external professionals
• Managing resources and supporting effective budget control

Job description

Salary: Up to £63,545 per annum (depending on experience) + £7,500 Welcome Bonus

Job Type: Full-Time – Permanent

Shift and Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Setting: 4-bedroom children's residential home

Client Group: Children and young people aged 8–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
