Charles Hunter Associates Ltd is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a domiciliary care service in Orpington. You will oversee day-to-day operations, provide leadership to the care team, and ensure high standards of person-centred care while maintaining CQC compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary care.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading and developing a care team.
• Experience with recruitment, supervision and performance management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive and hands-on management style.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service.
• Provide leadership, support and direction to the care team.
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care.
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
• Prepare for CQC inspections and drive quality improvements.
• Recruit, train, and retain high-quality care staff.
• Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals and performance reviews.
• Oversee care plans and risk assessments; review regularly.
• Carry out quality assurance audits and spot checks.
• Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints and investigations.
• Build relationships with service users, families and external professionals.
