Job summary

Placr Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead an established domiciliary care service in Hove, overseeing a team of around 40 staff and 75 clients while upholding CQC standards.

Initially a maternity cover, the role is permanent with potential to continue managing the service or expand to a new branch; salary £40,000–£45,000 per year, full-time, with ongoing professional development and support from the Managing Director.

Qualifications

• Previous Registered Manager experience within adult social care (domiciliary/homecare preferred).
• Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and safeguarding.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management and service performance.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding.
• Lead and develop CareGivers and office staff.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and QA.
• Maintain client, family and professional relationships.
• Respond to incidents, complaints and changing needs.
• Support service development with Managing Director.
