Job summary

A2B Social Care Recruitment Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead a 3-bed therapeutic EBD home. You will ensure high standards of care, adherence to Ofsted, and personalised care plans for each child.

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri 9-5, with a comprehensive benefits package and salary of £55,000–£65,000. You will oversee staff recruitment, training, safeguarding compliance, and strive for a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Qualifications

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children's Residential or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children in a residential setting.
• Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Children's Home, adhering to the Statement of Purpose and Ofsted framework.
• Ensure personalised care plans that meet each child's needs.
• Supervise and support staff development, safeguarding, and governance.
• Manage recruitment, staff training and development.

• Ensure personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the child
• Supervise and support the development of staff, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and service governance
• Manage recruitment, staff training, and development
• Achieve and maintain a "Good" or "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted

Requirements

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children's Residential or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children and young people within a residential environment.
• Driving Licence is essential

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 working full time Mon-Fri 9-5pm, plus extensive benefits package
