Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is helping a client in Gloucester find a Children’s Home Registered Manager to lead a new residential service with a focus on safeguarding and high-quality care for young people.

You will manage a dedicated team, ensure regulatory compliance, and build positive relationships with families and external agencies in a dynamic community setting.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children’s Services or equivalent (or willingness to undertake within six months).
• Proven experience working with vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.
• Strong understanding of the statutory and regulatory environment for children’s homes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating a dedicated team to deliver high standards of care and support for young people.
