JP Healthcare Recruitment is supporting a growing children’s residential care provider in Lancashire, recruiting an experienced Registered Manager for a home in the PR3 area. You will lead and develop a strong staff team, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and drive outstanding outcomes for children and young people.

The role offers £55,000–£63,000 per year, plus bonuses, with a Monday–Friday pattern and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years senior experience in children’s EBD residential care.
• Previous leadership or management experience in a children’s home.
• Experience with Ofsted registration and inspections.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and Children’s Homes Regulations.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Level 5 Leadership & Management preferred, or willingness to complete.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the children's home.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing residential care team.
• Maintain a safe, structured and nurturing environment.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Oversee care quality, staff performance and service development.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, social workers and external professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement and strong Ofsted outcomes.

Location: Chipping, Preston / PR3
Salary: £55,000 £63,000 per annum + bonuses
Hours: Monday Friday, 9am 5pm + scheduled on-call
