Our client is launching a new childcare provision in Bradford and seeks a passionate Registered Children's Home Manager to join the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and shape the home, making a significant impact on the lives of young people aged 8-18 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily management of the home in accordance with Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted standards.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, responsible for child protection issues.
• Lead and develop a team, fostering high standards of care and compliance.
• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure tailored plans and support for young people.
• Manage budgets and ensure financial and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Ensure a safe, positive environment that promotes health, safety, and well-being.

Qualifications:

• QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in residential care and 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Knowledge of Children's Act, Care Standards Act, and safeguarding practices.

Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Budget management and auditing experience.
• Emotional resilience and ability to handle challenging situations.

Enhanced DBS check and evidence-based knowledge of Regulation 44 and 45 reporting.

Full UK driving licence.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, Day shifts
• Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota.
