About The Client: Our client's mission is to create safe, homely, and empowering environments for children in need. They are launching a new childcare provision in Bradford and are seeking a passionate Registered Children's Home Manager to join the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and shape the home, making a real impact on young people's lives aged 8-18 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily management of the home in line with Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted standards.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, responsible for child protection issues.
• Lead and develop a team, fostering high standards of care and compliance.
• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure tailored support for young people.
• Manage budgets and ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment, promoting health, safety, and well-being.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualifications:
• QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years in residential care and 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Knowledge of Children's Act, Care Standards Act, and safeguarding practices.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Budget management and auditing experience.
• Emotional resilience and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Enhanced DBS check and knowledge of Regulation 44 and 45 reporting.

Desirable: Full UK driving license.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts
• Flexibility for on-call rota participation
