Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd is recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead our children's residential homes in the West Midlands. The role oversees daily life in the homes, ensures regulatory compliance, manages staff and budgets, and drives quality care for our young people.

The successful candidate will have extensive management experience in children’s residential care, strong safeguarding knowledge, and a commitment to a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in children’s residential care management.
• Experience in a LD/EBD home is desirable.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a warm, safe, and supportive home for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead and inspire a motivated team with guidance and support.
• Manage budgets, resources and the home environment.
• Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home’s statement of purpose is fulfilled.
