Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd in Melksham is seeking a Registered Manager for our children residential homes. Youll lead a compassionate team to deliver high-quality care in a nurturing environment, ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding.

The role focuses on management of daily life in homes, budgets, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has extensive children residential care management experience, leadership and safeguarding proficiency, and holds NVQ/QCF Level 3 and Level 5

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in children's residential care management.
• Experience with LD/EBD homes is desirable.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and legislation.
• Commitment to nurturing and empowering environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a warm, safe home for children and young people, achieving positive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Children Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead and inspire a motivated team with clear guidance and support.
• Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment.
• Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals for outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home s statement of purpose is fulfilled.
