JP Healthcare Recruitment is supporting a growing children’s residential care provider in the recruitment of an experienced Registered Manager for a home in the PR3 area of Lancashire.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead and develop a strong staff team, create a positive culture within the home and deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people. The role requires leadership, safeguarding expertise and a proven track record in Ofsted performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ senior experience within children’s EBD residential care.
• Previous leadership or management experience within a children’s home.
• Experience with Ofsted registration and inspections.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Level 5 Leadership & Management preferred, or willingness to complete.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the children's home.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing residential care team.
• Maintain a safe, structured and nurturing environment.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Oversee care quality, staff performance and service development.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, social workers and external professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement and strong Ofsted outcomes.
