Job summary

Health Recruit Network is seeking a Registered Children Home Manager for the Rochdale area. The role leads an Ofsted-regulated residential provision, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance, with a strategic view over policies and resources.

You will manage staff, promote educational and behavioral outcomes for residents, and work with external partners to ensure quality care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience working in a residential children’s home.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 4 equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day operation/management of an Ofsted-regulated residential provision.
• Ensure highest standards of care and outcomes for young people through research, development, and partnership.
• Provide motivational leadership and development to the team and oversee training programmes.
• Maintain effective communication with social work teams, the Virtual School, clinicians, and other partners.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, regulatory requirements, and Ofsted readiness.
