Job summary

Domus Recruitment is assisting a small elderly residential care home in Bromley to recruit an experienced Registered Manager who will take overall responsibility for leadership, management, quality and regulatory compliance to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, personalised care.

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in an elderly care setting and strong knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an elderly residential care home.
• Solid knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate care.
• Experience managing risk, safeguarding and quality assurance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for leadership, management and day-to-day operation of the care home.
• Act as the registered person with CQC and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain high standards of safe, effective, responsive and well-led care.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, medication management and safeguarding.
• Ensure effective systems for audits, quality monitoring and improvement.
• Prepare the home for inspections and liaise with GPs, nurses and regulators.
• Support occupancy, enquiries and admissions with a positive resident experience.
