Job summary

Sgscare is seeking a Hybrid Registered Manager for a 4–5 bed Children’s Home in Stockport. The role leads a therapeutic, trauma-informed team and requires safeguarding, mentorship, and strong leadership to support young people with EBD, trauma, and neglect.

The position is fixed-term for 24 months, full-time, with a hybrid working pattern and a minimum of 25 hours per week at the home. The Home offers progression and bonus opportunities, including performance bonuses and Ofsted-related

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare required.
• Minimum 3 years in residential setting.
• At least 1 year in supervisory/management role.
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or working towards it.

Job Title: Hybrid Registered Manager – Children’s Home
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per year (inclusive of performance bonuses)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid – Minimum 25 hours per week at the home)
Hourly Rate: Dependent on experience and qualifications

Service Users: YPs with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Trauma, Neglect
