Job summary

Achieve together in Sheffield is looking for an experienced Care Manager to lead the daily operations of our home. You will ensure high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder communication, while fostering a supportive, person-centered environment.

The successful candidate will have previous care management leadership experience, relevant health and social care qualifications, and a level 5 (or willingness to complete) with strong budgeting and team development

Qualifications

• Experience as Care/Service/Deputy/Registered Manager.
• Knowledge of Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC/CIW standards.
• Ability to lead staff and manage multiple priorities.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Level 5 qualification or willingness to complete.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the service meets the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC/CIW Fundamental Standards
• Maintain high-quality service delivery
• Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders
• Ensure service delivery is person-centered, accessible, flexible, and reliable
• Effectively manage the staff team
• Implement and maintain service delivery to meet Quality Assurance policy standards
• Carry out administrative tasks related to the role
• Oversee finances and budgeting
• Train and develop staff

Requirements:

• Ability to lead and motivate staff, delegate tasks, and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
• Proven experience as a Care Manager/Service Manager/Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must either have a level 5 or willing to complete this
