Job summary

Brook Street Social Care and a respected children's residential care provider in Chipping, Preston, are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed residential home. The role offers a salary of £55,000 per annum, full-time permanent hours, and a Monday–Friday pattern with occasional flexibility.

You will manage a team of residential support workers, ensuring high standards of care and positive outcomes for the children in your care, with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in residential care of children (within last 5 years).
• At least 1 year in a senior or team leader role in care.
• Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People/Residential Childcare.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or working towards.
• Full UK driving licence.

About the Role:

As a Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting young people with EBD needs in a safe, children centred and structured environment. You will offer support with a team of residential support workers, ensuring the highest quality of care is consistently delivered while promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in your care.

We are looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children (within the last 5 years)
• At least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
• Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People/Residential Childcare
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent - or working towards
• Candidates that hold a full, UK driving licence

Requirements:

Previous experience in a senior or team leader role within a children's residential setting

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for making a difference in young people's lives
• Ability to work flexibly.
