Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Registered Manager for a newly established three-bedroom children’s residential home in Huyton, Merseyside. You will lead the team, ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance, and provide safeguarding and incident response.

The role requires Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) and at least two years of leadership experience in children's residential settings, plus enhanced DBS and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• Minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience within a children’s residential setting.
• Mandatory Enhanced DBS Check and Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the children’s home to ensure compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations
• Promoting a positive, supportive team culture through supervision and staff development
• Overseeing safeguarding, crisis management, and incident response, ensuring appropriate actions and learning
• Delivering high-quality, child-centred care tailored to individual needs and experiences

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home to lead a newly established three-bedroom children’s residential facility in Huyton. This is a vital role within a supportive organisation committed to creating positive outcomes for children and young people. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulations, and fostering a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the children’s home to ensure compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations
