Job summary

Leaders In Care Ltd in Oldham is recruiting an experienced Service Manager to lead a supported living service, ensuring high quality care, compliance and person-centred support. Are you an experienced Supported Living Manager looking for an opportunity where you can take real ownership of a service and make a genuine difference?

We are working with an established supported living provider in Oldham who are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead a complex service and take responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality and development of the provision.

This is an opportunity for an experienced manager who is confident working autonomously, managing challenging situations and providing strong leadership to both staff and the people they support.

The Role

As Service Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the effective running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and support are maintained.

You will:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of a supported living service.
  • Provide strong, visible leadership to the staff team.
  • Ensure people receive high-quality, person-centred support tailored to their individual needs.
  • Manage complex and challenging situations with confidence and professionalism.

About You

We are looking for an experienced supported living manager who is comfortable taking ownership and working independently.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous management experience within supported living or a similar complex care environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality, compliance and safeguarding.
  • Experience managing and developing teams.
  • The confidence to manage challenging situations and complex support needs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement.
  • The ability to work autonomously while also engaging effectively with the wider leadership team.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for the people you support.
