Job summary

SGS Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated Residential Registered Manager for a newly established Children's Home in Carlisle. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and be passionate about supporting young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Job Title: Residential Registered Manager
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £35,037.45 per annum
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Boys aged 6-18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

• Number of Beds: 4
• Location: Carlisle
• Type of YPs: EBD, Trauma, Neglect
• Ofsted Rating: N/A (Brand New Service)
• Ratio of Staff to Children: In line with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent
• Experience:
  • Experience in managing an Ofsted-registered Children’s Home
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
• Other Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (paid for by the company)
