A leading children's care provider is seeking a Registered Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional care to young people. You will oversee a small team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred support in a residential home. Ideal candidates will hold relevant qualifications and have experience managing staff in a care setting.
Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Langford, Bedfordshire
Salary: Up to £53,725.86 (includes bonuses)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs – EBD, Trauma, CSE, CCE, PSB
Qualifications Required:
QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (or equivalent)
Experience in Years Required:
2 years’ experience in the last 5 years in children’s residential care
Minimum 1 year supervising and managing staff in a care role

Who we are looking for…
We’re seeking a confident, dedicated, and experienced Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding care to young people. You must have excellent organisational skills and a proven track record of leadership in an Ofsted-registered children’s home. Your ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff, coupled with a solid understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements, will be key to success in this role.
To be considered, you must:
Hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (Children & Young People)
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People Workforce (or equivalent)
Have experience managing staff in a care role
Be able to drive a manual car and have business insurance
Be on-call on a shared basis (average 2 per month)
