Job summary

Agincare are recruiting a Registered Manager for a refurbished care home in Aylesbury. You will lead a team to deliver safe, compassionate and compliant care, ensuring residents feel at home. The role requires strong leadership, 42 hours weekly, and active involvement in HR, safeguarding and regulatory duties.

The candidate will drive person-centred care, review care plans, monitor quality and maintain excellent relationships with residents, families and professionals to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining.
• QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Management qualification (QCF Level 4) or willingness to work towards it.
• Previous registration in a residential service (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care home operations.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults.
• Full-time availability (42 hours per week).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Championing choice, dignity and personcentred care for every resident
• Reviewing and adapting care plans in partnership with residents, families, staff and professionals
• Monitoring and auditing service quality and acting swiftly on areas of improvement
• Managing risk assessments and safeguarding practices to keep residents safe
• Recruiting, inducting, mentoring and developing your team
• Leading with confidence on HR matters, including performance and conduct
• Ensuring effective staffing levels and robust contingency planning
• Investigating safeguarding concerns, managing complaints, and ensuring full regulatory compliance, including duty of candour

About you

Youre passionate, motivated and ready to lead. You bring experience, heart, and a commitment to delivering excellent care.

Youll need:

• At least 12 months remaining on your Right to Work in the UK
• QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• A management qualification (QCF level 4) or willingness to work towards it
