Job summary

Resourcing Group is recruiting on behalf of an established care provider for a confident and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee a care home. You will lead a dedicated team, maintain high care standards and ensure residents live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible.

The role involves accountable leadership to the Registered Provider, ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance and staff development, with a focus on person-centred care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within a care environment.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• A sound understanding of care regulation, safeguarding, quality assurance and health and safety.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and make confident, well-informed decisions.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• A professional, honest and respectful approach.
• Desirable: NMC registration; ILM/RMA or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day running of the home through effective teamwork and delegation.
• Creating a positive culture that provides support and appropriate challenge to the team.
• Ensuring residents' individual needs, preferences, backgrounds and differences remain at the heart of the service.
• Maintaining compliance with registration conditions, legal requirements and company policies.
• Promoting excellent care standards and continually improving resident outcomes.
• Providing clinical leadership and direct support when required.
• Managing the home within budgets, KPIs and occupancy targets.
• Building relationships with professionals and the wider community.
