Richmond Villages Cheltenham, part of Bupa, seeks a Registered Care Home Manager. You will lead care teams, ensuring safe, person-centered care and compliance with CQC standards in a 40-hour week at Richmond Village Cheltenham.

You’ll drive clinical governance, develop care strategies, and build relationships with commissioners while supporting residents’ independence and choice. DBS clearance is required, with the cost covered by the employer.

Qualifications

  • The successful applicant needs to be clinical and should possess or be willing to work towards obtaining a management qualification such as the Registered Manager’s Award.
  • You’ll be a leader with experience of leading and developing a care setting, with comprehensive experience in elderly care.
  • The ability to lead by example, you’ll share your clinical knowledge on quality improvement and cultivate an open and honest culture amongst your team.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be clinically responsible for the ongoing care of residents within the care home and lead our teams to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Ensure all units comply with CQC standards and maintain a safe environment for residents.
  • Lead on clinical governance and work with senior professionals to strengthen systems, processes and practices.
  • Develop the village strategy and direction and build strong relationships with LAs, CQC and Primary Care Trust commissioners.

Responsible for ensuring staff levels are appropriate, you’ll lead on all aspects of clinical governance and work with senior professionals to develop systems, processes and practices to strengthen clinical practise and resident care.
