Job summary

Esland Care is seeking a Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our Huddersfield solo service, home to 6–18-year-olds with complex needs. You will oversee safeguarding, care quality and staff supervision in a nurturing environment.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £55,000 (DOE) plus a bonus up to £8,500, full-time hours, and relocation assistance. A birthday day off and extensive benefits support work–life balance and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a children's home or similar residential setting.
• Strong leadership and people management skills are essential.
• Experience with children with behavioural, emotional and social needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a solo children's home for 6–18-year-olds with complex needs.
• Ensure high-quality care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee staff, rota planning and ongoing training.
