Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd is seeking a Children's Home Registered Manager to lead Peak View in Buxton. You will oversee residential care for young people, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality therapeutic support within a trauma-informed framework.

Salary ranges from £48,000 to £55,000 per year, plus a £3,000 car allowance and a potential bonus up to £8,500. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in residential care within the last 5 years.
• At least 12 months experience supervising care staff.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England) required; Level 5 Diploma desirable.
• Experience with Ofsted inspections.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice in children's care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential care for young people and ensure safety.
• Lead and develop staff while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Promote trauma-informed, therapeutic support within Peak View.
