Suffolk County Council in Beccles is seeking a Registered Children's Home Manager to lead Beccles Children's Home, a mixed gender home for up to 4 children aged 11-17, with a focus on safeguarding, outcomes and community links.

The role requires leadership of a residential team, safeguarding compliance, staff recruitment and development, and active involvement in reporting and quality assurance. A Level 5 Diploma pathway and driving licence are essential.

Qualificações

• Two years’ experience in residential care for children within the last five years.
• At least one year supervising care staff.
• Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
• Full UK Driving Licence with access to own transport.
• Experience within the EBD sector.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage Beccles Children's Home to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.
• Ensure safeguarding and risk management, maintaining Ofsted compliance.
• Recruit, supervise and develop staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Oversee quality assurance, complaints and reporting for improvement.
• Build strong partnerships with families, agencies and the community; provide on-call cover.
