Job description

Job Title: Registered Children's Home Manager

Salary:
- £43,537.50 per year (Level 5 qualified)
- £40,850 per year (if not Level 5 qualified)
- OTE up to an extra £17,500 in bonuses based on retention of staff, Ofsted rating, and longevity as a Manager
- Total OTE: £61,037.50

Location: Stoke-On-Trent - 3 Bed EBD

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (with requirement to be part of RM on call)

Holidays:
- 6.6 weeks per year including bank holidays
- Additional 0.2 weeks for each completed year of service, up to a maximum of an extra week

Role Requirements:
- Level 5 qualified in Leadership and Management
- Ideally have been registered with Ofsted
- Must be a driver with own car and business insurance
- Provide previous inspection history and SC numbers for review

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the children's home
- Ensure the home meets Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
- Support, mentor, and lead the team to ensure high standards of care
- Oversee staff recruitment, retention, and development
- Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders
- Ensure the welfare and safety of all children in the home
