Job summary

Search & Selection UK Ltd is recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed EBD children’s home in Bradford. You will oversee the staff team, safeguard and deliver high-quality care, ensuring a child-centred, safe environment.

The current manager is moving on to start a new home and you will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter. Candidates should have leadership experience in children's residential care, with EBD experience and Level 5 Leadership & Management (or nearing completion);

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within children's residential care.
• Experience supporting young people with EBD.
• Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or nearing completion.
• Ideally, experience of an Ofsted inspection.

Responsibilities

• Lead the staff team and ensure high standards of safeguarding and care.
• Maintain a nurturing environment where young people feel safe, valued and supported.
• Drive continuous improvement and shape the home's next chapter after inspection success.
• Prepare and lead the team through Ofsted inspections and compliance processes.

We're recruiting for a Registered Manager to join an established company and lead a 4-bed EBD children's home, recently rated Good in all areas by Ofsted.

Currently supporting two young people, this is an opportunity to build on the home's recent inspection success and shape its next chapter. The current manager is leaving to establish their own home.

You'll lead the staff team, maintain high standards of safeguarding and care, and create a nurturing environment where young people feel safe, valued and supported.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Leadership experience within children's residential care
• Experience supporting young people with EBD
• A Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or are close to completing it
• Ideally, experience of an Ofsted inspection
• A child-centred approach and the confidence to lead a home
