Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Service Manager to lead a registered care service in Central Edinburgh. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staff, and care packages in a busy, responsive setting.

The role requires strong leadership, person-centred care, and a proven ability to maintain high standards of quality and compliance with regulatory bodies. You will work with Directors and the Management Team to develop the service and support staff and service

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (SCQF Level 9) or an SSSC recognised equivalent.
• Experience of managing and supporting staff within a care setting.
• Experience leading a staff team, including supervision, development and performance management.
• Good understanding of Care Inspectorate and SSSC requirements.
• Experience with complex, challenging, multi-need service users.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong day-to-day leadership to the service and staff team.
• Manage and develop staff through supervision, support and performance management.
• Oversee care and support packages to ensure they are person-centred, safe and responsive.
• Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, safeguarding and risk management.
• Ensure the service meets Care Inspectorate, SSSC and legislative requirements.
• Work closely with people who use the service, their families and external professionals.
• Build effective relationships with Local Authorities, Health Boards and partner agencies.
• Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support ongoing development and growth of the service.
