Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver mandatory and practice development training across a designated group of homes in the North East. This field-based role covers face-to-face sessions, practical demonstrations, and on‑the‑job coaching to ensure staff meet care standards and regulatory requirements.

You'll work with Home Managers to plan sessions, monitor training compliance, support induction, and contribute to continuous improvement of the training programme across the region.

Qualifications

• Deliver mandatory and statutory training to care and support staff across allocated homes.
• Plan, resource and deliver high-quality training in homes across the region.
• Maintain attendance and completion records in the LMS.
• Monitor training compliance and escalate gaps to the Head of Training.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and induction for new starters.
• Support Home Managers with needs identification and practice development.
• Deliver clinical and care topics as required (e.g., care planning, pressure care, dementia).

Responsibilities

• Ensure training meets HC-One framework and regulatory requirements.
• Plan, resource, and deliver high‑quality training across locations.
• Maintain attendance and completion records in the LMS.
• Monitor training compliance and escalate gaps to the Head of Training.
• Provide on‑the‑job coaching to care staff during home visits.
• Support induction of new starters within allocated homes.
• Work with Home Managers to identify training needs and plan activity.
• Deliver practice development training and competency assessments.
• Support staff to access and complete e-learning modules.
