Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Regional Support Manager to provide senior operational leadership across multiple care homes, guiding leadership changes and improvement initiatives. The role requires travel across England, Scotland and Wales, delivering high-quality, person-centred care and robust governance.

You will stabilise services, coach Home Managers, and implement sustainable improvements while collaborating with Regional Directors and central support teams.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a current NMC PIN (for nursing homes) or NVQ Level 4/5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
  • Registered Manager Award, Leadership & Management Level 5 qualification, or willingness to achieve.
  • Significant experience as a Home Manager or senior operational leader within adult social care.
  • Demonstrable experience leading services through improvement, turnaround or operational transition.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support to care homes during leadership vacancies, improvement programmes or regulatory intervention.
  • Ensure operational accountability for allocated homes and deliver improvements in quality, workforce and financial performance.
  • Lead homes through inspections and respond to safeguarding concerns; maintain relationships with residents, families and commissioners.
