Job summary

Lanes Group is hiring a Regional Operations Manager based in Reading to oversee multiple Sapphire TM depots, each with a depot manager and a large team.

You will drive profitable delivery across a fast-moving reactive and planned traffic management service, coordinating regional and national clients to meet SLAs and KPIs while maintaining high service quality.

The role requires 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with travel between Reading and Kidlington.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Confident in systems and functions.
• Experience of leading and supervising a team.
• NRSWA accreditation.
• LANTRA 12ABCD.
• Knowledge of permit schemes.
• Self-motivated with high standards.
• Experience in reactive traffic management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the budget for South depots managing 24/7 reactive and planned traffic management for multiple sectors.
• Ensure smooth, proactive service delivery across the depot network with consistent quality.
• Lead by example and instill core company values.
• Keep customer priorities at the heart of depot operations.
• Manage cost-effective service delivery while maintaining high quality.
• Exceed client SLAs and KPIs.
• Be the go-to operations person in the region and a role model.
• Motivate and develop teams for right-first-time delivery and excellent service.
