Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Night Depot Manager for Sapphire Traffic Management Solutions, covering Reading and Kidlington depots on the Thames Water contract. You will lead night operations to ensure SLA delivery, coordinating handovers and job allocations with a company van provided for travel.

Hours are 50 per week, nights 9pm–7am, Monday to Friday, with additional weekend duties as rostered. You will ensure accurate data capture and compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience leading and supervising a team.
• Confident using depot systems and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and nightly handovers between Reading and Kidlington depots.
• Allocate all jobs after 5pm and log on Hire/Off Hire.
• Complete depot On Hire Off Hire logs and conduct Night Operative audits.
• Monitor email inbox and Big Change to ensure SLA adherence after hours.
• Ensure accurate time booking and real-time data updates.
• Coordinate night rosters and OOH duties per manager roster.
• Communicate with councils/highways for light switch outs.
• Create and assign new jobs on Big Change for real-time updates.
