Job Purpose

• Support homes within the region, with flexibility for travel
• Report to the Regional Manager
• Work closely with the management team to ensure quality standards and timely action plans
• Support homes to achieve at least a 'good' CQC outcome, championing quality
• Assist in managing financial budgets
• Provide operational support, including managing vacancies, leave, sickness, and supporting new or struggling Managers
• Deputise for the Regional Manager when needed

Principal Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Service Improvement Plan
• Implement and manage new systems like EMAR and electronic care planning
• Lead, supervise, and support regional employees
• Assist in recruitment, induction, and supervision of staff
• Promote effective communication and uphold Harbour Healthcare's key elements
• Address HR issues, performance management, disciplinary actions
• Ensure residents' needs are met through assessments and care plans
• Involve residents in decision-making about their care and activities
• Support maintenance, health and safety compliance, and mandatory training
