DX Group is seeking a Regional SHE Manager to lead safety, health and environmental initiatives across multiple sites in the region. You will drive risk reduction, governance and continual improvement of the Group SHE Management System, coordinating with site teams, the SHE Director and external auditors.

The role requires a Level 6 safety qualification (NEBOSH) and IOSH Chartered/Graduate status, plus a proven track record in multi-site SHE support, audits, investigations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Level 6 occupational health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma).
• IOSH membership towards Chartered status (CMIOSH) or Graduate Membership.
• Experience providing SHE support across a multi-site operational environment.
• Knowledge of UK and Irish health and safety legislation and management system standards.
• Experience in risk assessment, risk control, compliance management, incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across levels.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within region.
• Solutions-focused approach, sound judgement and professional integrity.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing priorities and confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical SHE advice and coach operational managers to strengthen leadership, accountability and ownership of risk.
• Provide assurance to the SHE Director and operational leaders on regional compliance, risk management and SHE performance.
• Support compliance with UK and Ireland health, safety and environmental legislation; act as Competent Person as applicable.
• Plan and deliver audits, inspections and assurance activities; monitor compliance and close out actions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; identify root causes and track corrective actions.
• Analyse SHE performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support environmental permit compliance, waste management and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain registers, develop and communicate SHE policies and guidance.
• Collaborate with Regional SHE Managers/Advisors and Training Manager on awareness and engagement.
• Engage with enforcing authorities, customers, insurers and external auditors as required.
