Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Regional Health and Safety Manager to lead SHEQ across rail, aviation, defence, power and highways projects in the UK. You will drive a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

You will oversee risk management, incident investigations, and performance analytics, building strong relationships with clients, regulators and internal stakeholders while developing teams and supporting leadership.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6, or equivalent Health and Safety qualification.
• Chartered IOSH (CMIOSH) status or working towards chartership.
• Senior Health and Safety leadership across multi-site operations.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) capability.
• Experience delivering improvements through data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health, Safety and Wellbeing activities across the region with clear leadership.
• Develop and support operational teams while advising senior leaders on governance.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and company policies.
• Oversee risk management, audits and assurance across multiple contracts.
• Drive an incident-free culture by reducing injuries and environmental impact.
• Promote wellbeing, sustainability and continuous improvement programmes.
• Monitor performance data, identify trends and provide insights to leaders.
• Build relationships with clients, regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Lead investigations, identify root causes and share lessons learned.
• Develop team capability and drive inclusion and organisational change.
