Qualifications

• A background in care is important for the role of Regional Senior Care Assistant, and you'll need a good understanding of elderly care.
• A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is essential with a view to complete an NVQ 3.
• Ideally, you'll have a GCSE at grade C or above in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the delivery of care when on duty and ensure it remains person-centred.
• Contribute to the person-centred care planning process for each resident.
• Record observations such as temperature and blood pressure among other tasks.
• Provide support and companionship, ensuring residents enjoy meaningful one-to-one time.
