Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a Regional Senior Care Assistant to provide warm, empathetic care to residents within a 20-mile radius. You will monitor care delivery on duty and contribute to person-centred care planning while recording vital observations such as temperature and blood pressure.

Travel across the area is required; you should have access to a car. A dedicated and compassionate approach will help residents enjoy meaningful one-to-one time with you on every shift.

Qualifications

• Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is essential with a view to complete an NVQ 3.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• A caring, dedicated and compassionate approach to wellbeing.
• Willingness to travel across the area and provide patient, one-to-one support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, empathetic and respectful care to residents.
• Monitor delivery of care during shifts and support care planning.
• Record observations (temperature, blood pressure) and other routine checks.
• Provide companionship and meaningful one-to-one time with residents.
