Job summary

Barchester care homes are seeking a Regional Senior Care Assistant to deliver warm and respectful care across a 20-mile radius. You will monitor care delivery, contribute to person-centred planning and record observations such as temperature and blood pressure, while offering essential companionship to residents.

The role involves travelling across the area; a car or access to one is required, with mileage covered for trips beyond five miles.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care.
• GCSE English and Maths at C or above preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the region with mileage covered over five miles.
• Dedicated and compassionate approach to resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delivery of care on duty and support care planning.
• Record observations such as temperature and blood pressure.
• Provide companionship and meaningful one-to-one time with residents.
• Travel across the 20-mile radius to support multiple homes.
