Barchester Care Homes is seeking a Regional Care Assistant to deliver warm, empathetic care across a 20-mile radius and support residents in achieving their best quality of life.

You will monitor care delivery, contribute to person-centred plans, and record observations. A care background, Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care, and GCSEs are helpful; driving is required as you travel the area. Mileage is covered beyond five miles from home, with possible bonus after Good inspections.

Qualifications

• Background in care and understanding of elderly care.
• A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is useful.
• GCSE English and Maths (C or above) recommended.
• Driving licence or access to a car required; mileage covered over five miles from home.

Responsabilités

• Monitor delivery of care while on duty and support residents.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning for each resident.
• Record observations (temperature, blood pressure, etc.) and other tasks.
• Provide companionship and meaningful one-to-one time with residents.
