Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Regional Security Supervisor to oversee our security team across the North & Midlands of England, including Nottingham. You will lead night shifts, coordinate patrols at multiple construction sites, and ensure safety, compliance and service levels across all sites.

Applicants should hold a valid SIA licence and a full UK driving licence, with strong computer skills to maintain incident reports and logs.

Job description

Regional Security Supervisor (North & Midlands) . Laing O'Rourke, working in partnership with Select Security, are looking for a regional security supervisor to run and manage our security team across the north and midlands of England.

As our regional supervisor, you'll support and oversee security across several construction sites, sorting schedules, leading and motivating a team of dedicated security officers, and making sure we keep things running smoothly and safely.

If you're a proven leader with a good work ethic, decent computer skills, and can juggle schedules like a pro, we'd love to hear from you.

• Great pay rate of £15.65 per hour based on experience

What we’re looking for:

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of security officers on night shifts
• Patrol: Do mobile security patrols to different client sites throughout the night
• SIA Licence: Hold and maintain a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence
• UK Driving Licence: Full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Scheduling: Sort out and allocate security personnel to meet client needs and keep service levels high
• Report Management: Use your computer skills to create and maintain incident reports, activity logs, and other paperwork as needed
• Client Relations: Build and maintain good working relationships with the project by staying in touch with the Security Supervisor, dealing with concerns and making sure their security needs are covered
• Emergency Response: Coordinate and respond to security-related emergencies, keeping everyone and everything safe
